Refund policy

We’ll shoot you straight: right now, Lousy Outdoors runs on print-on-demand. Every item is made just for you after you order, which means we can’t handle returns and exchanges the same way big stores do. As we grow, our plan is to move toward holding inventory so returns and swaps get easier. For now, we’re still small but growing, and here’s how our current return process works:

What’s your return policy?
We don’t offer returns and exchanges, but if there’s something wrong with your order, please let us know by contacting us at lousyoutdoors@gmail.com!

Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please contact us at lousyoutdoors@gmail.com with photos of wrong/damaged items and we’ll sort that out for you.

Can I exchange an item for a different size/color?
At this time, we don't offer exchanges. If you’re unsure which size would fit better, check out our sizing charts—we have one for every item listed on our store, in the product description section. Though rare, it's possible that an item you ordered was mislabelled. If that’s the case, please let us know at lousyoutdoors@gmail.com within a week after receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item, and we’ll send you a new one, or issue a refund!

Return Policy

We want you to love your Lousy Outdoors gear. If something’s not right, here’s how we handle it:

Defects & Misprints
If your item arrives misprinted, damaged, or defective, let us know within 20 days of delivery. We’ll make it right at no extra cost.

Lost Packages
If your order never shows up, contact us within 20 days of the estimated delivery date and we’ll investigate.

Wrong Address
If the shipping address provided was incorrect, the package will be returned to our facility. Reshipping costs are the customer’s responsibility once a correct address is confirmed.

Unclaimed Packages
Packages that go unclaimed will be returned and may be donated to charity. Reshipping fees are the customer’s responsibility.

Final Sale Items
For hygiene reasons, certain items (like face masks) cannot be returned.

Change of Mind / Size Exchanges
Because each item is made to order, we can’t offer returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse or sizing issues. Please double-check the size guide before ordering.

How to Start a Return
If you think your order qualifies for a return or replacement, email us at lousyoutdoors@gmail.com within 20 days of receiving your product (or within 20 days of the estimated delivery date for lost packages). Please include your order number and a photo if applicable.
